The Versailles treaty did give birth to them because the treaty degraded Germany, and hitler, a member of the Nazi party, promised the German people that they will get power and the great depression gave them power because people were starving so when hitler came to power he created jobs building the autobon which ended their depression, and since hitler kept his promise of bettering the economy it gave the Nazi party much more power!
