Did we get lucky or the worse just hasnt come yet- pomeranian question?

Our 8 month old pom does not shed at all. He get groomed once a month. We bathe him ourselves once in between grooming so basically a bath every other week. He's on a raw diet and gets zero table scraps. Do you think the shedding starts later or are we just lucky?
