Am I going to get a dry socket?

I got my wisdom teeth out on Tuesday. Everything has been going fairly well, but I just rinsed my mouth with salt water, and it felt like something separated? Like, maybe I opened a hole wider from rinsing? I don't know. I'm frightened of getting a dry socket, though. Shed some light on the situation?
